CUSTECH Adjusts Resumption Dates for 2026/2027 Academic Session
The Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, has announced an adjustment to the resumption dates for fresh and returning students for the 2026/2027 academic session.
In a circular dated September 25th, 2026, and signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mrs. Glory Ojochogu Yakubu, the University explained that the adjustment was necessitated by unforeseen technical glitches and logistical challenges and is aimed at ensuring seamless administrative preparations for the new academic session.
Under the new arrangement, fresh students comprising 100 Level and Direct Entry students will now resume on Monday, October 12th, 2026, instead of the earlier date of September 28th, 2026.
Similarly, returning students from 200 Level and above will resume on Monday, October 19th, 2026, representing a three-week extension from the original resumption date.
The University further announced that the regular registration deadline has been extended to Friday, November 13th, 2026, while late registration will run from Saturday, November 14th to Monday, November 23rd, 2026, with the statutory late registration fee of ₦10,000.
CUSTECH advised fresh students to commence screening, physical documentation and online course registration immediately upon resumption, while returning students may continue with fee payment and course registration through the online portal before their physical return to campus.
The University said a supplementary academic calendar containing the new date for the matriculation ceremony and revised academic workload would be issued by the Academic Planning Unit.
Management expressed regret over any inconvenience the adjustment may cause and wished students safe journeys back to campus.
