Mr. Emmanuel Ajayi Bello is the second substantive Bursar of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara. A distinguished professional accountant with over three decades of experience, he brings deep expertise in financial management, treasury operations, and strategic planning to the University.
A native of Kabba in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Mr. Bello is a passionate educator and mentor. He is happily married and blessed with children.
He graduated with a B.Sc. in Accounting from Abuja University (now Yakubu Gowon University) in 2001.
Mr. Bello joined the defunct National Electric Power Authority (NEPA) in 1990, which was onboarded into Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) in 2005, and later privatized into Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc (AEDC) in 2013.
He rose through the ranks to become Senior Manager, Finance Operations in 2000, and was appointed Head of Treasury in 2022 — a position he held until December 2025.
Appointed the 2nd substantive Bursar of CUSTECH, Osara, in December 2025.
He is a highly respected member of several professional bodies. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). In addition, he is a Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and the Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria (ICA).
