PROFILE OF JOHN ALAJI (BSC, MSC, ACTI, FCNA)
John Alaji’s educational path is quite remarkable. He began his studies (Primary and Secondary) education at Egume, Dekina Local Government of Kogi State. He got admission to the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1993 where he obtained both Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master of Science degree (MSC) in Accounting and Finance. Furthermore, he then delved into MSC Forensic Accounting at ANAN University, Kwall, Jos, Plateau State. He is currently running his Doctor of Philosopy (PhD) in Accounting at Veritas University, Abuja.
His experience in the economic sector of Nigeria is extensive, having worked over a period of 23 years for both private and public organisations. His work history started from the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs at Abuja, for his National Youth Service Corps(NYSC). He also worked at Ernest Ikeh & Co (Chartered Accountants), NIIT Training Centre, Abuja, Cornel Okolo & Co (Chartered Accountants), E.O. Ameh & Co (Chartered Accountants) and Phil Phil Igeh & Co (Certified Accountants).
John Alaji was the Head and Chairman of the Kogi State Salary and Pension Reconciliation Committee, where they worked to investigate, calculate, and settle outstanding salary and pension arrears of Kogi State Civil Servants. Afterwards, he was appointed as a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kogi State on Internal and External Audits.
