ASSETS DECLARATION: CODE OF CONDUCT BUREAU EXTENDS PUBLIC ENLIGHTENMENT TO CUSTECH

The Vice Chancellor of the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku and his Management Team comprising the Registrar, Ms. Olufunke Hudson, the Bursar, Mr. John Alaji, the University Librarian, Mr. Jeremiah Salifu had on Thursday 27th July, 2023 hosted the Code of Conduct Bureau Team to the university community. Also in attendance were Pharm. Muhammed A. Audu, Director, Academic Planning, Bldr. Ismail Adoke, Director, Physical Planning and Development and Arc. Usman M. Ahmed Director, Works and Maintenance.
The Code of Conduct Team led by Mr. Onakpa Abel Oboni also had Mall. Yunusa Abdullahi, Mrs. Oglin Nonye Augusta and Mr. Ajagun J. Oluwafemi. Their visit was centered on enlightening the CUSTECH, Osara community on the processes involved for each staff to declare their assets on a particular form known FORM CCB 1.
While delivering his welcome address to the Code of Conduct Bureau Team, Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku thanked the team for coming down to Osara the host community of the university to enlighten the staff members on the need for them to declare their assets. He also made the staff members to know that this process is one that the Management Team of CUSTECH had already passed through as at the time they were assuming office and that it is not an exercise to witch hunt anyone.
The Team leader of the Code of Conduct Bureau, Mr. Onakpa Abel Oboli and Mrs. Oglin Nonye Augusta took their turns to explain the different steps involved in declaring ones asset. They made available a prototype copy of the assets declaration form to the staff members of CUSTECH, Osara for them to easily have a grasp of what the form entailed. The tutors from the Code of Conduct Bureau gave opportunity for questions to be asked and ten staff members of CUSTECH, Osara did ask questions that were duly given answers to.
The Registrar of CUSTECH, Osara, Ms. Olufunke Hudson gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the university. She thanked the Code of Conduct Bureau Team upon the articulate completion of the two lecture sessions. She also appreciated the Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku for making sure that the enlightenment programme saw the light of the day.

This is to inform the general public that PHYSICAL VERIFICATION IS NOT CURRENTLY TAKING PLACE on campus, especially for New Students. All physical verification activities will begin on January 6th, 2025.
