MILD BIOGRAPHY

Jeremiah Egbila Salifu was born on 25th December, 1962. He had his early education in Qua-iboe primary school now LGEA school Ugwolawo where he obtained his first school leaving certificate.

He then went to Government Secondary School (GSS) Dekina in the then Benue State, now in Kogi State. After completion of his secondary education in 1983, he joined the service of the Federal Polytechnic Idah (FPI) as a library attendant.

After some years of service, he went to Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria for diploma program in library science which he completed in 1992.

Few years after, he went back for his Bachelor degree in Library and Information Science at the same ABU Zaria and graduated in the year 2007.

Jeremiah Egbila Salifu again embarked on his postgraduate program at the University of Nigeria Nsauka (UNN) where he obtained his master’s degree in Library and Information Science in the year 2014. Jeremiah Egbila Salifu rose to the position of Chief Librarian at the Federal Polytechnic Idah. He has written many papers both conferences and journals publication. Jeremiah Egbila Salifu is currently the University Librarian, Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osrar, Kogi State. He is married and blessed with children.
