*CUSTECH Osara and PEEMADI Strengthens Collaboration for Engineering Excellence*

The Power Equipment and Electrical Machine Development Institute, PEEMADI, Okene, has assured the Confluence University of Science and Technology of its preparedness to collaborate with the University in developing its manpower needs and sharing Technical knowledge.

This assurance was given today when the Managing Director of the Institute, Engr. Yakubu Adaaja led a delegation of the management on a visit to the University in Osara.

PEEMADI, an Institute of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure ( NASENI)was visiting the University to collaborate with it in enhancing the Technical capacity of its staff and students.

In his speech, the Vice chancellor, Prof. Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu, FNSE, thanked the Institute for the prompt response to the call for collaboration in matters of research and enhancement of knowledge of staff and students in order to fulfill its mandate of raising global students who are trained to solve society problems and industry demands.

Prof. Salawu said six programmes of the University are ready for COREN and NUC Accreditation with an assurance that the Faculty of Engineering with eleven programmes is positioned to be the largest Faculty of Engineering in Nigeria.

He thanked the former Governor, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello and the incumbent, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo for the foresight and political will to set aside all needed equipment to ensure a successful Accreditation of all the programmes of the University.

The event was witnessed by the University’s principal officers, including the Director of Academic Planning, Pharm. Muhammed Audu Asuku and the Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Engr.Prof.MT Isah.

This is to inform the general public that PHYSICAL VERIFICATION IS NOT CURRENTLY TAKING PLACE on campus, especially for New Students. All physical verification activities will begin on January 6th, 2025.
